Week 1
I learned how to set up blogging. This can be very beneficial in a classroom. The parents and students can get on and ask questions and answer ones from other people regarding things in the class, school, or community. It is a great way to get the students' home lives connected to what is going on in school. They are easy to join and follow. I am considering using this when I teach.
Week 4
Today we worked on Google Earth. The process was easy to understand once you get the hang of it. It's easy to do, just time consuming. I can use this in my teaching by mapping out courses for my physical education activities. I can also get on it when talking about a specific location to show the students the location of it compared to our location. The students can also use it when doing projects. I would use it in higher levels, not with young students.

Week 3
I'm excited get our video put all together. There are still a lot of things that I want/need to learn about with imovie before I am able to. Our group decided to do something that we could actually show in our classroom, so we are really putting effort into it.
Once I learn how to work imovie correctly, I can incorporate that as an option when assigning my students a big project. I plan on giving them options on different ways to present their project and I believe this is a great option.
I am still really nervous on saving. I don't want our work to be lost, so I always double check to make sure we are dong it correctly.

Week 2
I really enjoyed learning how to alter and change photos. It was fun doing it for a class project, but I feel like it could come in handy when working with real pictures that you wanted to use for something. If you were on a field trip and a student happened to get into a picture that they shouldn't of been in, you can crop the student out or cover him up or blur him out. Also, if you are out on a personal outing and took a picture, you can use this to alter it if there is something that you didn't want in the picture.
It was a lot of fun going through and looking at everyone's pictures. I liked trying to guess what was real and what was added in before I read the description.

Web 2.0: Fresh Logic Atlas
I chose the program, Fresh Logic Atlas. The program is free and it is similar to GoogleEarth. It is a big map of the world. You can zoom out and see all continents or you can zoom in and see a specific address on a certain street. You can get directions from place to place. You can search locations by name or address. You can email the specific information that you looked up as well.
I like this, because it can be used for personal use or in a classroom. You can look up specific locations when talking about them, so your students can get a visual on the location of the topic.

WEB 2.0: Talkto
I chose the program Talkto. The program allows you to text any local business and you will get a text response. You can ask to make reservations, an appointment, check hours, anything. The program will tell you how long it will take to get a response from the specific business you chose, so you can plan accordingly.
I chose this program, because I am often on the go and it helps when you don't have to sit around waiting on hold for a simple question to be answered. It allows you to go on about your day and still get the information that you needed.
You can use this in a classroom to see if they allow field trips or to get certain information from them to relay to your students.

Bucket List
One thing that I want to have done in my lifetime is, while I'm still young and have to only take care of myself (no kids to care for), I want to do as much as possible and not worry about getting enough sleep or worrying about money. I want to live life to the fullest while I'm still in college and don't have the full blown adult responsibilities. Once I do have those responsibilities, I still want to live my life to the fullest, but what that implies will have a different meaning as my responsibilities change.
